Laurel J. Davis, founder and president of Empathy Editorial, has been editing books and doctoral dissertations since 2006. Her range of projects include non-fiction, devotionals, bible studies, memoirs, children's books, and cookbooks. A published writer herself, she also offers writing coaching services for new or burgeoning authors.

As a pastor's wife, Laurel has been leading women's ministry since their church's inception, and she has been writing and teaching women's bible studies consistently since 2004. In 2021, she founded an online weekly bible study, Wisdom's Table, that continues to reach across the U.S. and beyond through Zoom, Facebook, Instagram, a podcast, and a YouTube channel. Based on Proverbs 9:1-6, Wisdom's Table equips Christian women with the tools and skills to understand the unadulterated truths of God's Word and to apply them to our daily lives for His glory. Wisdom's Table Women's Bible Study meets on Wednesday, 6pm Pacific Time/9pm Eastern, via Zoom.
